Silent Tears was shown at the Lionel Bowen Library with the support of the Randwick City Council. A forum was held on 15 December as part of the events for International Day of the Elimination of violence against women and girls. Belinda Mason and Denise Beckwith spoke at the event along with three of the participants of Silent Tears.
The paintings by three of the participants, Rochelle Taylor, Jane Rosengrave and Vicki Wilkison accompanied the exhibition. These artworks were accompanied with items of great significance to those participants. This gave the viewer a deeper insight intoto the lives of these three women.
