In March 2016, Denise Beckwith Dieter Knierim and Belinda Mason travelled to Indonesia to collaborate with Ida Puji Astuti for the Silent Tears project. Four women with disability joined the Silent Tears project to tell their stories. It was an incredible trip listening to to the women and advocates provide an insight into the complexities of the violence perpetrated on women with disabilities in their region.
